Ycee alleges exploitation from Sony Music executive, Michael Ugwu

Just less than three months into his year long distribution deal with Sony Music Entertainment, Nigerian singer, Oludemilade Martin Alejo more popularly known as Ycee is not quite happy about how the deal is going thus far and quickly took to twitter to register his displeasure.

He not only called out the general manager, Sony Music West Africa, Michael Ugwu, the singer accused the manager of milking young artistes of their sweat. According to him, the music executives running the digital sharing companies are living a life of exploitation on artistes.

He started out by asking Michael Ugwu, “How’s business? Booming? You milked anyone new lately?”

He continues in a series of tweets and even asked younger artistes to learn from his frustrations.
