The woman who is suing Usher Raymond and accusing him of exposing her to herpes now says an STD test confirms she’s contracted the virus and she has therefore increased her demand. The woman, in new legal documents filed as Jane Doe, says she was devastated when she got the results on Saturday. The woman said she’d gone to get tested immediately after hearing reports Usher admitted in documents that he has herpes simplex 2.
Recall that Usher had settled a million-dollar lawsuit after infecting his sex partner, a celebrity stylist with herpes. According to Radar Online, legal documents had detailed how the eight-time Grammy winner had rigorous unprotected sex without disclosing he was stricken with the rabid virus.
A few days after, TMZ reported that another lady sued Usher for $10 million after she says they had unprotected sex earlier this year. She said she had no idea he had Herpes and decided to sue after learning about the initial settlement.
She had earlier sued for negligence, battery and emotional distress and sought at least $10 million in damages. Now she wants at least $20 million for emotional harm, medical bills and punitive damages.
