The Triple MG boss has kick started his empowerment scheme through The Ubi Franklin SME Startup Funds Empowerment initiative, a Nigerian-based African-funded Philanthropic Organization that supports entrepreneurship and empowerment in Nigeria by enhancing the competitiveness of the Nigerian Private Sector.

The scheme which is strictly for Nigerian entrepreneurs with unique business/entrepreneurial ideas already has 92 people selected from an initial 2000 applicants to be further pruned to 10.

The 10 will attend a compulsory boot-camp mentoring session. The entrepreneur finalists will be selected based on the viability and feasibility of their unique idea, which will include but not limited to: Product or Service Ingenuity, Customer Focus, Financial Prowess, Scalability, Leadership and Entrepreneurial Skills.

At the end of the boot camp, the 10 finalists will be given business capital of N500, 000.00 each. The initiative will identify and aid to grow 10 SME Start-Ups and Young Businesses from across Nigeria.

The businesses that these 10 entrepreneurs will churn out through the empowerment scheme, is expected to create new businesses and jobs and eventually contribute to the geometric annual revenues to the Nigerian economy.
