There is obviously some sort of underground beef going on between erstwhile friends, serial entrepreneur, Toyin Lawani and media personality, Toke Makinwa going by what Toyin Lawani said about Toke Makinwa in a public space
The stylist and designer recently appeared on Hot Topics, a programme hosted by another media personality, Latasha Ngwube which is fashioned after a segment on American talk show host, Wendy Williams’ show, where she brings in a group of panelists, usually her colleagues or friends to dish on trending topics.
On an episode of Latasha Ngwube’s ‘Hot Topics’ which had in attendance, on air personality, Omotunde Davies, Chikezie Dozie and Toyin Lawani, they all touched on a range of topics, from marriage to Bobrisky to Toke Makinwa. While discussing an issue where Toke Makinwa had to be mentioned, On Toke Makinwa, Toyin Lawani made some shocking comments that have left a bad taste in many people’s mouth.

According to her, “Toke Makinwa’s pain is just men issues. She has not seen ‘sufferness’. She has not lost a mum. She has not walked around the streets with a child in her stomach. Her pain is just men, dick-related issues,” she said.
The fact that Toyin lawani clearly choses to ignore the fact that Toke Makinwa lost her parents at an early age in an inferno, a fact most people know via her book, ‘On Becoming’, leaves much to be desired especially as both ladies were once upon a time, close friends.
Well let’s see how this one pans out and if Toke Makinwa will be responding.
