Teinbo Saturday Seliye Fubara Jack–Rich, wealthy businessman and politician, recently clocked 50th and rather than roll out the red carpets, he chose to have a quiet celebration with close family members.
From very humble beginnings, Jack-Rich has gone on to becoming a trailblazing industrialist and founder of Belemaoil Producing Company. This is despite losing both parents at the age of 10.
That he has redefined success through innovation, local empowerment, and an unwavering commitment to uplifting communities cannot be over emphasized.
Until the 2022 presidential primary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, where he was an aspirant before stepping down for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, not much was known about Jack-Rich except for the allegation that gained traction on social media that he is a lover of Nollywood actress, Destiny Etiko and that he allegedly expanded her fleet of cars with a brand-new SUV. Both have since denied this allegation.
Jack-Rich is considered by all standards, one of the biggest beneficiaries of Tinubu’s administration. Although he was already a successful businessman, the singular gesture of stepping down for him during the presidential primary endeared him to the president.
He has already begun to reap from where he had the foresight to sow. His company, Belema Oil Producing Limited was one of the two companies that got crude oil terminal licenses. His Belema terminal, the 1st hybrid crude export terminal, is located in Rivers State and has the capacity to add over $11 billion to the national revenue, over 400,000 barrels of crude daily with a storage point that could store eight million barrels of crude and is guaranteed to provide 100,000 jobs to employment seekers.
A graduate of Petroleum Production from Panola College, Cartage USA, Jack–Rich also has degrees from the University of Wales & USAM Porto-Novo, Benin Republic, in Business Administration. Himself and his wife, Elizabeth were both named highest-ranking members of the APC Presidential Campaign Council before the 2023 general election.
Shortly after the primaries where he emerged winner, Tinubu and his team paid Jack–Rich a visit and not long after that, he was appointed the Deputy Director of the PCC Fundraising Committee. Jack-Rich is also a philanthropist of note.
