Maritime top shot, Taiwo Afolabi made sure to leave no stone unturned as he threw a lavish traditional wedding party for his first son, Olayinka Afolabi and his heartthrob, Bisola Omisade, yesterday at Ibadan. The party which had the who is who in the political, business and social space, had King Sunny Ade perform for the couple and their guests. The white wedding is expected to take place this coming weekend and Dr Taiwo Afolabi and his amiable wife, Deaconess Afolasade Afolabi are both putting finishing touches in ensuring that the city of Lagos, venue of the white nuptials is shut down. Dr Taiwo Afolabi is the brains behind SIFAX Group, a conglomerate he co-runs with his wife which is into shipping and oil and gas. He is also the executive director of SAHCOL.
