The Lagos Social Establishment has been thrown into mourning as a top member of the exclusive club, Chioma Madubuko has died.

Chioma who was 68 and a former company secretary at Dangote Group Secretary, Chioma Madubuko passed away on Monday, June 1, at Reddington Hospital, Lagos, after a prolonged battle with multiple sclerosis.

She resigned from the services of Dangote Company in January, 2020, where she served for about 12years.

An alumnus of the University of Ife, now known as Obafemi Awolowo University, where she also obtained a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Chioma Madubuko had over 35 years of experience spanning legal practice, banking, manufacturing and real estate.

Prior to joining Dangote Group, she served as company secretary of NASCON Allied Industries Plc, company secretary of Lead Bank Plc, Member of International Federation of Women Lawyers, Member of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and Member of Institute of Management Consultants of Nigeria.

She is survived by three children and grandchildren.
