A socialite of many years standing, Lanre Nzeribe was first thrust into the limelight more than 20 years ago. Known for his romantic liaisons with members of the opposite sex, he famously dated the likes of actress turned evangelist, Liz Benson, socialites, Grace Egbagbe and Tola Odutola as well as actress, Monalisa Chinda-Coker. A ladies man no doubt, his good looks, physique and bubbly personality were a few of the things he had going for him and his means of charming the women. A businessman, he is known to have operated a few nightclubs and a taxi line, Latana Taxis in Lagos. However, shortly after the end of his relationship with Monalisa Chinda-Coker which was quite messy, as both resorted to calling each other names, Lanre Nzeribe seems to have bade the social scene farewell. He is hardly seen making social appearances anymore, preferring to keep a low profile. Save for a brief appearance he made when he resurfaced at the joint birthday party of Nina Agwunna and Muka Nwokedi earlier in the year, not much has been heard about him. A few who have sighted him say he is a shadow of his former self, perhaps due to his indebtedness to projects he worked on with Monalisa when they were a couple.
