She is many things to many people. But you can’t deny that she is powerful, prosperous and philanthropic, she exudes a larger than life aura. Even at 70, Senator Florence Ita-Giwa has no plan to slow down from her heavy daily routine, one of which is being the voice of the Bakassi people, an act that has not only endeared her to many but also earned the name, Nma Bakassi . Well the grandmother and former Presidential Adviser on National Assembly  Matters to former President Olusegun Obasanjo, has further extended her business tentacles with the opening of her restaurant, in Calabar, her home state. Called The Fusion, the restaurant which was declared open by the state governor, Ben Ayade, is a strictly diet and health conscious restaurant where the ingredients used for cooking are meticulously measured, sourced for naturally and prepared under very strict hygienic conditions. She attributes this initiative as the secret to her youthfulness and exuberance.
