Barely two weeks after Rihanna reportedly split from her Saudi Arabian billionaire, Hassan Jameel whom she dated for nearly three years, the singer who hasn’t publicly commented on the breakup despite tonnes of speculation about the reason behind the breakup, is currently dating rapper, ASAP Rocky.
“They shared a hotel suite during that trip in New York. However, Rihanna is reluctant to put a label on it as it’s so soon after Hassan. [But] they’re really enjoying each other’s company and taking things easy as it’s still early days,” an insider said of their recent visit to NYC.
On whether Rihanna and ASAP have a future, the source added, “It’s really casual between them and she’s not thinking about whether there’s a future with Rocky. She’s a newly-single girl having fun.”
Currently neither party have done anything to confirm the rumours, but the long-term friends did attend the British Fashion Awards together in December. This isn’t the first time Rihanna and ASAP Rocky have been linked, either – the pair were hit with dating rumours in 2013 when they were seen being affectionate in New York.
