The highly anticipated wedding between Debo Ogundoyin, Oyo State House of Assembly Speaker, and his beautiful partner, Olamidun Majekodunmi held today Saturday, November 27, 2021 at All Saints Anglican Church, Bodija, Ibadan, Oyo State capital while the reception took place at Polo Club, Eleyele Ibadan, Oyo State.

The event was witnessed by present and past governors, political office holders traditional rulers, judges and a host of others.
Oyo State governor, Seyi Makinde, Ogun State governor, Dapo Abiodun, Ondo State governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, Oyo State deputy governor, Rauf  Olaniyan, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, Chief Judge of Oyo State, Justice Munta Abimbola, Oyo State High Court Judge, Justice Diran  Akintola, former Speaker of Oyo State, Mrs Monsurat Sunmonu, first female minister of industry, Chief Mrs Nike Akande, Deputy National Chairman of People’s Democratic Party, PDP (South) Taofik Arapaja and many others were all in attendance.
Music maestro, Sunday Adeniyi Adegeye, otherwise known as King Sunny Ade dazzled guests with his melodious tune.
The Street Journal had reported that the couple on Thursday held their traditional/engagement ceremony at the UI International Conference Centre.

The 34-year-old speaker who is a son of the late industrialist, Adeseun Ogundoyin and Ibadan socialite, Tina Ogundoyin, became a member of the Oyo State House of Assembly after he won the by-election, following the death of the former Speaker, Michael Adeyemo, on April 27, 2018.

Ogundoyin, a graduate of Babcock University, Ilisan Remi, represents Ibarapa East in the Assembly.
