The Lagos premiere of the Ocean’s 8 movie, a Hollywood movie starring Rihanna, Cate Blanchet, Sandra Bullock, Anna Hathaway etc, may have come and gone, but the fashion choices of guests who thronged the Imax cinema, venue of the premiere still reverberates in the consciousness of many. As expected, members of Lagos red carpet community didn’t disappoint as most adhered strictly to using Met Gala event look to guide their fashion choices, a nod to the film’s heist plot where an all-female crew attempt to steal precious jewels at New York City’s annual Met Gala. Guests were free to dress in their own interpretation of any of the past Met Gala themes over the past two decades. Creativity was at its best, from sequins, to gothic looks, to lace, with guests looking to outdo each other to nab the cash reward for best dressed.

Now Diamond bank, one of the major sponsors of the premieres has finally picked actress, Osas Ajibade as the best dressed guest. While she goes home with a cash reward of N250,000, her designer, Africcana also goes home with a cash reward of N500,000 to boost her business.

Osas Ajibade took to her social media to express her profound gratitude saying; “Honored and Grateful! Many thanks @filmhousecinemas @diamondbankng @cocacola_ng @filmoneng .
