Gospel singer, Sammie Okposo, has pulled down his apology post from his Instagram page wherein he admitted to cheating on Ozioma, his wife.

In the post, Okposo apologized to his wife and stated that he would be suspending himself from ministerial activities as part of his efforts to make peace with God.
“To my wife, Ozioma. I am sincerely sorry I put you through this shameful and embarrassing situation. I broke your trust and disappointed you. Your forgiveness of my moral failure and poor judgment is important to me. I pray I will eventually be able to build back the trust and confidence every single day for the rest of my life,” a part of the post read.
The post went on to trigger a surge of reactions on different social media platforms with differing opinions.
While some social media users argued that the post was unnecessary and that Okposo ought to have simply addressed the matter privately with his family, some other set insisted he did the right thing as it portrays accountability.
Recent checks earlier today confirmed that the post had been discarded from the singer’s Instagram page.
The development also comes as Dunamis International Gospel Centre, (DIGC), extracted Okposo’s name from the list of artists to perform at the concert scheduled to hold on January 28.
Okposo was earlier scheduled to perform at the concert alongside other gospel artists including Sinach, Nathaniel Bassey, Chioma Jesus, and a host of others.
But in an updated flyer of the event shared by the host pastor of the church, Paul Enenche, on Tuesday, Okposo’s name was no longer on the list of guest artists.
