Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, on Saturday, paid a historic visit to erstwhile National Deputy Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bode George at his Ikoyi residence, accompanied by his top aides and loyalists. The former president put aside their political rift to pay his condolence to the former Military Administrator of Ondo State, who recently lost one of his sons,  Dipo. Obasanjo urged Bode George to take solace in God on the demise of his son.
He said, “We cannot query God, but to only take solace in what He has done to you. If this did not happen, who knows what next that will happen? I have not been around but it was in my mind to come over and commiserate with you and the family. May God grant the deposed eternal rest.”
