The daughter Kosisochukwu reportedly passed on at the age of 24 from cancer of the liver.
Her burial has been slated for August 24.
“The family of Nkem Owoh (Osuofiasn) of Umunevo Owonta of Umungwu clan in Amagu village, Udi town, Udi local government, Enugu State regrets to announce the death of our daughter. The deceased will be buried on August 24,” the burial announcement read.
After Kosisochukwu died, a man in a viral video called out Nkem for abandoning his family, which allegedly led to his daughter’s death.
The man alleged that the actor has been unkind to his family and had refused to fulfill his responsibilities as the head of the household.
The man who claimed to be related to the wife of the actor accused him of prioritizing his career over his family.
According to him, the actor’s late daughter had countless times begged her father to sponsor her treatment abroad, but he did nothing until she eventually lost the fight.
He claimed that whenever Nkem Owoh is called to render assistance, he claims he’s busy with work on movie sets.
He further alleged that the actor and his wife has been separated for more than 15 years which made him abandon the children with their mother.
