Nigerians are currently not happy with President Buhari for his latest in a long list of errors that he has come to be associated with. In his largest appointment so far since assuming office, President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday approved the constitution of the governing boards of agencies and parastatals and also appointed 209 chairmen and 1258 members to fill the board positions.
Among those he appointed are three men who have since passed away. Buhari appointed Rev. Christopher Utov as a Member of Nigerian Institute of Social and Economic Research. Rev Utov, the proprietor of Fidei Polytechnic, Gboko passed away on March 17, 2017.
The president also appointed Chief Donald Ugbaja as a Member of the Consumer Protection Council (CPC). Chief Ugbaja, a former DIG of the Nigerian Police, died on November 29, 2017.
The third man, Senator Francis Okpozo, was appointed as Chairman of the Nigerian Press Council. But Okpozo, a Senator in the Second Republic, died on December 16, 2016. Infact, President Buhari issued a statement regarding his death while also condoling the family of the late Senator.
Nigerians on discovering this anomaly have taken to social media to voice their outrage.
I wonder how President Buhari (and his people) will address this “Appointing dead people” thing. Will they for the first time take responsibility for their mistake and apologize? Will they ignore it? Will they assume we’re all idiots and give a stupid excuse? We watch.

President Buhari blamed past government for economic woe.
He blamed security agencies for his son, Yusuf Buhari's bike accident.
Blamed Oil Marketers for Fuel Scarcity.
Who will he blame for appointing 3 dead Nigerians into Board of Agencies? pic.twitter.com/HyPgYQCso3

Either Buhari didn't vet the suitability of his own appointees or he didn't make the relevant appointments himself. Any way you slice the appointment of deceased persons, President Buhari is grossly incompetent.
And this is the least worrisome of this govt's misadventures.

I’m patiently waiting for President BUHARI to appoint my late father as the minister of dead people affair.. …
Some idiots will still come out to defend this man.
When will God give us a good leader? We have suffered enough since 1960. pic.twitter.com/NYDvuT7rwh

How did President Buhari appoint three dead people as Heads of Agencies and Parastatals? Did the list not go through proper vetting? This is the definition of gross incompetence and anyhowness.
