President Muhammadu Buhari is currently in Lagos state on a two-day working visit to commission some projects and also participate in the 66th birthday anniversary of national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. Based on his movements within the city, security operatives blocked major roads, subjecting residents to hardship. Many trekked several kilometres to their destinations while some were stranded. Also many who were billed to fly were seen dragging their luggage over long distances as they headed towards the airport to catch their flights, many of which were delayed. Some of the closed highways were ever-busy Lagos-Abeokuta expressway (both ways), Ikeja-Agege motor road, Mobolaji Bank Anthony-Airport road, among others.
