Ever since she came into public’s consciousness in 2007 after the release of her three mix tapes, there has been no looking back for Nicki Minaj who has continued to dominate the world stage in rap music and winning countless awards to validate her hardwork.

The 35 year old Trinidad born singer, song writer and model recently crowned off her accolades with an American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) award, thus making her the most awarded female rapper in history.

Nicki who is also an actress took to her social media to trumpet her numerous achievements because as she said, ‘People broadcast your failures. They shout them to the mountain tops. So never ever stop posting your accomplishments.”

She wrote: “I love God. According to Universal Records, this year alone, my album catalogue sold 325K worldwide and The Pink Print is now at 4 Million worldwide. Since January, I’ve received 11 billboard entries, and yesterday with that ASCAP award, I became the most awarded female rapper in history. To top it all off, this year I received the title for most Hot 100 entries by any woman in the history of music, a title previously held by Aretha Franklin for 40 years.

“They don’t want you to post your achievements and accomplishments. It makes them uncomfortable. But you must because every day, people broadcast your failures, they shout them to the mountain tops. So never ever stop posting your accomplishments.
