Today, music executive Ubi Franklin and Nollywood actress, Lilian Esoro decided to put their differences aside and unite for their son, Jayden’s 1st birthday. The estranged couple put out a video of both of them in unity as they helped their son cut his birthday cake.
This would be the second time the estranged couple will be seen together since news of their break up surfaced. Earlier this year, they were both spotted at a charity event together in Abuja. The event was put together by Dunes center in Abuja.
Recall that about two years ago, they were such a loving couple that many wanted to emulate judging by how smitten they both were of each other. Their love story culminated into a huge society wedding that was attended by virtually all their peers in their respective industry.
Unfortunately, barely a year after they tied the knot, things went awry between them. This was made all the more noticeable when during their first year anniversary, while music executive Ubi Franklin celebrated Lilian Esoro, Lilian refused to reciprocate. She would later unfollow her estranged husband and even removed all of his pictures on instagram, leaving only pictures of their son, Jayden.
Soon after, she dropped his name from her social media handle, reverting to her maiden and was later spotted without her wedding ring. Not even when music executive Ubi Franklin celebrated the launch of his lounge, Tilt Terrace did anything change. Even an attempt to sell to the media that he was opening the lounge for his wife, back fired as Lilian refused to congratulate him on the day of the opening neither did she put up pictures of the lounge as most of his celebrity friends did.
Well this is perhaps a good sign that their co-parenting is top notch and will get even better.
