Peter Okoye has unveiled a female singer who he has signed on to his own personal P-Classic record label, separate from the family Square records. The person is none other than rapper and GLO X-Factor winner, DJ Switch. He also shared on his social media platforms a new single and video by her which will be released soon. Switch, whose real name is Obianuju Catherine Udeh, will be joining Kaffy’s husband, Pappy J who was signed to P-Classic records last year.

DJ Switch, who has been in the music industry for years, first got her big break in 2009 as a member of Da Pulse. The group won the 2009 edition of the STAR QUEST music talent show and they went on to release their first single ‘So Tey. The song was a massive hit and the group later dropped a remix with American Superstar, Busta Rhymes before they split.

In 2013, she emerged the winner of the GLO X-Factor show and went home with 24 million naira and a Sony Music record deal. The 33-year-old rapper has since been focused on her passion for disc jockeying and is also the official DJ of P-square.
