After a whirlwind media frenzy, the 2016 edition of The Future Awards Africa, finally held at the Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos on Sunday, December 18th. In its 11th year, the awards ceremony which celebrates young people between the ages of 18 and 31 and who have made outstanding achievement in the year under consideration in their various field of endeavors, introduced to guests, the key players who are shaping the future in the 105 nominees identified across 21 categories. The well attended event had the President Elect of The Republic of Ghana, Dr. Nana Akufo-Addo as the keynote speaker. There were 21 recipients one of was Mark Okoye, Nigeria’s youngest commissioner at 30. He is the Honourable Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget Development in Anambra State. He got the biggest prize of the night. Other recipients include:
