A twitter user, @DrOlufunmilayo has taken to his handle to call out the authorities of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital. In his tweet he claims the state government hospital employed 34 doctors in November 2019 and till date, not only have they not been paid their salaries and allowances, four of the newly employed doctors are currently on self-isolation having come in contact with one of their own who tested positive to coronavirus.
These doctors are NOT at home expecting free salaries. These doctors are NOT asking for extra pay or special allowances. They are only asking to be paid for the work they have done.
I am personally appealing to federal govt and the @Fmohnigeria, please pay these 34 LUTH doctors.

These doctors are not medical students who collect money from their parents.
These are medical doctors with a family to feed and people depending on them.
Please let us not watch these people starve to death while they risk their lives for us in the hospital. This is not fair.

You know what the association of Resident Doctors LUTH is trying to do to help these doctors?
They are begging cooperative societies to borrow them money for these doctors to eat.
Medical doctors begging cooperative society just to be able to feed. Ah LUTH is a total disgrace.
