The highly anticipated 7th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards which took place on Saturday March 14th ended with a lot of mixed feelings as the awards ceremony threw up quite a number of surprising wins and loses.
Headlined by ona air personalities, IK Osakioduwa and Kenyan Amina Abdi Rabar, the star-studded ceremony ended with ‘Living in Bondage’ having a total of seven wins including Best Overall movie. However, one of the biggest snubs of the night was ‘King of Boys’ with no wins.
Because the ceremony is usally a night of glitz and glamour, a new category was created for the Best Dressed Male and Best Dressed Female on the red carpet.
