Olamilekan Moshood Agbeleshe, more popularly known as Laycon has been announced as the winner of the Big Brother Naija reality Television show, Lockdown Season 5 after staying locked up for three months with 20 other housemates which were later pruned through evictions to two remaining housemates; himself and fellow house mate, Dorothy.
The 27 year old rapper, singer and songwriter from Ogun State takes home the winning prize of N30million as well as other consolation prizes all totaling N85million. The breakdown of the grand prize includes N30 million cash prize; a two-bedroom apartment courtesy Revolution Plus; a top of the range SUV from Nigerian automaker, Innoson Motors; a trip to Dublin courtesy Guinness; home appliances courtesy Scanfrost.
Others are a trip to Dubai packaged by Travelbeta; a year’s supply of Indomie noodles, Munch it, and Colgate toothpaste; a year’s supply of Pepsi, a branded chiller, trip to watch the UEFA Champions League finale; and a brand new Oppo mobile smartphone.
A graduate of Philosophy from the University of Lagos, with a second class upper degree in philosophy, Layocn began his music career in 2019 after working as a personal assistant to the CEO and managing director of Latjum Global Nigeria Limited, as a sales and business development personnel at Bestman Games, Ikoyi, Lagos and as a personal assistant to the assistant director, welfare in administration and human resources at the Lagos State ministry of information and strategy.
