MoneyMaster PSB, a leading payment service bank, has been selected, once again by the Lagos State Government to facilitate transactions for the second phase of the ‘Ounje Eko’ Food Discount Market.

The initiative, which offers residents a 25% discount on various food items, aims to alleviate the burden of high food prices across the state.

Following a successful pilot in March, the scheme will recommence on September 1, 2024, across all Local Government Areas, Local Council Development Areas, and five tertiary institutions in the state.

MoneyMaster PSB’s innovative payment and collection technology infrastructure, which was successfully deployed during the pilot exercise will, once again ensure seamless transactions at the discount markets.

MoneyMaster PSB in a statement said: “We are excited to partner with the Lagos State Government in the second phase of the Ounje Eko discount markets as this programme aligns with our corporate philosophy of adding value to people’s lives”.
