Many have criticized Forbes magazine for naming Kylie Jenner the youngest self-made billionaire but the mother of one isn’t taking it lightly and has slmmed her critics who lament her ‘self-made’ billionaire status. Opening up to Interview Germany magazine about juggling life as a mother to daughter Stormi and running her billion-dollar make-up empire, Kylie Cosmetics, the last of the Kardashian/Jenner clan defended her new status, defiantly.
“There’s really no other word to use other than self-made because that is the truth. That is the category that I fall under,” she said.
The Los Angeles native went on to admit she had an advantage with her platform following the success of her family’s reality TV show, Keeping Up With The Kardashian.
“Although, I am a special case because before I started Kylie Cosmetics, I had a huge platform and lots of fans. I did not get money from my parents past the age of 15. I used 100% of my own money to start the company, not a dime in my bank account is inherited… and I am very proud of that.”
Kylie also opens up on her13-month-old daughter appearing on her reality show in the future, even though her own early beginnings were documented on TV, Kylie revealed that her daughter Stormi who she shares with her boyfriend, Travis Scott, will be the one to decide whether she’ll want to appear on the small screen in the future.
“I am going to wait until she is old enough to make that decision for herself.”
On wanting more kids, she said, “I do want more kids but I do not have any plans in the near future to have children right now.”
