Members of the entertainment industry; singers, Kcee, Terry G and Vic O, have all signified their interest to join politics by vying for elective positions. They have joined the governorship race and this may not be unconnected to the Senate’s passing of the age reduction bill for anyone seeking political positions.

The trio of Kingsley Kcee Okonkwo, Terry G and Vic o are all very keen to govern their respective states and have put out posters to this effect. While Kcee wants to govern Anambra State, Terry G wants to govern Benue State while Victor Ncha Odu aka Vic O has his sights set on the government house in Cross River State.

While Kcee’s campaign slogan is ‘Attention to Detail’, with plans to formally make an announcement on Tuesday August 8th, Terry G’s campaign slogan is ‘Power belongs to the youth’. He is promising good roads, water stability and power stability. He however says that there will be problem if he doesn’t win as he wants to be both governor and deputy governor. Vic O on his part wants to rule the state for free without collecting salary.

Just last week, Yul Edochie, the actor son of veteran actor, Pete Edochie signified his interest to govern Anambra State, with the campaign slogan, ‘The last bus stop’ for all things investment, tourism and equal opportunities. Earlier this week, he stepped up his campaign via social media when he pleaded passionately to be given a chance as he is passionate about fixing the issues plaguing the state.
