After taking out an order of protection, baring her ex, David Otunga from having access to their son, Jennifer Hudson was finally forced to drop the order of protection when David got the primary custody of their son, eight year old David jnr due to her tight work schedules. The arrangement is albeit, a temporary one though. A more permanent custody agreement will be reached at a later date. Their next custody court date is on December 7.

37 year old David, Harvard law graduate also requested to remain at their Chicago residence during the two weeks 36 year old Jennifer will be traveling for work. Jennifer has been working in the UK for the TV show ‘The Voice’. Hudson had Otunga thrown out of their home and told an Illinois’ Cook County Court he displayed increasingly aggressive, threatening, and harassing behavior something the former wrestler has repeatedly denied.

There are reports the breakdown reportedly resulted from disagreements over which one would get primary custody as well as accusations that the Oscar winner  cheated with her producer, Mali Music. Before the legal drama, many doubted the couple would ever walk down the aisle due to their nine-year-long engagement.
