Comedian and On Air Personality with WAZOBIA FM, Chinedu Ani otherwise known as Nedu has countered viral reports of forcefully taking his kids from his ex-wife Uzoamaka Ohiri with the help of policemen attached to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Yaba, Lagos.

Punch had reported that the two kids were seized after Uzoamaka was asked to bring them to the State CID, stop making disparaging comments against the media personality on social media and report at the SCID regularly.

However countering the claim with a photo of his ex-wife’s statement, Nedu stated that it was a unanimous agreement.

Expressing disappointment of having to come to social media to explain himself, he reiterated that he has always taken care of his kids contrary to claims made earlier.

Nedu also revealed that the children were taken to Owerri to live for over a month without his consent or permission. He added that he paid for the flight for her to go and bring them back to Lagos, after it was agreed by all parties that it was better they were returned to Lagos especially as they school in the South-West State.

The media personality further confirmed that a case was filed against his ex-wife for cyber-bullying, and she was invited to respond, and the matter is ongoing alongside custody resolution.

He also advised Uzoamaka and her family to stop granting interviews on the matter as they are not dealing with inanimate objects but “living and breathing beings who will one day deal with the consequences of this fall-out.”
