Yesterday, Nollywood actress and mother of two, Iyabo Ojo, took her colleague, former friend and mother of two, Fathia Balogun to the cleaners when she used the opportunity that Fathia’s 51st birthday to take her to the cleaners and call her a witch.

Iyabo Ojo revealed that despite going to Turkey to celebrate with Fathia for her 49th birthday celebrations, Fathia decided to pay her back by revealing to the media that she had gone into a coma while undergoing a body enhancement procedure. She alluded to the fact that not only did Fathia wish her dead, but that Fathia never visited her all through her ordeal and even when she returned to Nigeria.

But an online news outlet tried to rubbish Iyabo’s revelation by alleging that the real reason for the two former friend’s beef is an Istanbul based man called Gbenga Noble or Asiwaju Instabul. Supposedly a married man, the report alleged that Iyabo was the one originally dating the man who is younger than the two actresses before Fathia Balogun took over from her thus fueling her hatred for Fathia.

But Iyabo Ojo has refuted the allegations of any man being the sole reason why she called out Fathia Balogun on her birthday. Not only did she say fighting another woman because of a man would be the last thing she would do, she says that their beef goes beyond the ordinary into the spiritual realm as is characterized by the industry they operate in. She went on to add that, had she died two years ago, Fathia Balogun would have been the chairlady, burial committee.

She also said she regrets having friends in the movie industry as it was her first biggest mistake especially because of the glaring hypocrisy in the industry.
