On Tuesday, February 25, Evangelist Isaac Oyedepo, the second son of Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide aka Winners Chapel, celebrated his 40th birthday.
The lavish celebration which was a gathering of who is who in Nigeria’s Christendom took place in Abuja where Isaac is based. From the entrance of the venue to the decor which was carefully curated, the choice drinks and food, the humongous white cake, Isaac went all out to make it a memorable day for his guests who flew into Abuja from different parts of the country.
Frank Oyakhilome was the choice master of ceremony at the party which had gospel artists, Laolu Gbenjo, Lilian Nneji keeping the guests on their feet. The highlight of the party was the launch of 12 books published by the celebrant. Some of those who made it to the party were the celebrant’s parents, Bishop David and Faith Oyedepo; his siblings, Pastor David Oyedepo jnr and his wife, Kemi; Love Ogah and her husband, Pastor Steve Ogah; Joyce Abodunrin; Pastor Paul and Pastor Mrs Becky Enenche; Pastor David and Pastor Mrs Peace Ibiyeomie; Bishop David and Pastor Mrs Mary Abioye; Bishop Thomas Aremu; Bishop Feb Idahosa; Pastor Jerry Eze; Pastor Yemi Davids; Rev Sam Oye; Dunsin Oyekan; Apostle Michael Orokpo; Apostle Femi Lazarus; Pastor Lawrence and Godswill Oyor; Pastor Bayegun Oluwatoyin aka Woli Arole; Pastor Emmanuel Iren; Bishop Felix and Bishop Mrs Funke Adejumo; Stephen Akintayo and many others too numerous to mention.
Evangelist Isaac ordained alongside his older brother, Pastor David Jr as pastors in May 2007 by Kenneth Copeland was a full-time pastor with the church his father founded for 16 years.
During this time, he pastored several branches in the USA, South Africa, and Nigeria. His last place of assignment was the national youth minister of the church, an assignment he did not take up before he resigned in 2024 to set up his own ministry, The Isaac Oyedepo Evangelical Ministries with a mission to reclaim a generation, restore the fire, and revive a people. Isaac carries out his God-given assignment doggedly and with urgency, knowing that will give account to God who called him. The ministry undertakes major university campus invasions across Nigeria, Africa, and the World to reach the unsaved with the gospel of the Kingdom and Ignite the saved through the Ministry of the Holy Ghost. Isaac believes that University campuses serve as the “Bridge” between the “Next” and “Now” Generation.
Another expression of ANAZAO GENERATION CONNECT which is a core area of his ministry is a mandate targeted at the “Now” generation church. He pursues the mandate to awaken the ‘Now’ Generation church. He is often referred to as a ‘Revivalist’ and is a well-sorted minister at church conferences, conventions, and crusades. He hosts the annual HOLY GHOST AND FIRE CONFERENCE in the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria.
Indeed, he has been commissioned by God on a mission to his generation.
Isaac is married to Ayomitide and together they have four children, Israel, Queen-Esther, Joshua, and Peace.
