Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted the 82-year-old mother of the Chairman of the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company (NAHCO) and business mogul, Sehinde Fadeni. The victim, Alice Fadeni was abducted from her residence situated at Okeriota area of Ode Aye, in Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State. According to a source, the suspected kidnappers have not contacted the family of the victim for ransom.

Speaking on the situation, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, CSP Femi Joseph, confirmed the incident and said investigation had commenced on the incident.
“We aware of the abduction of the old woman but we have started investigation into it and we are already on the trail of the bandits.”

Meanwhile, the Senator representing Ondo South Senatorial District, Nicholas Tofowomo, has described the abduction of the octogenarian as evil. Senator Tofowomo urged security agencies in the state to move into action for the unconditional release of the victim.
