The 2022 edition of the Golden Globes held on at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, California.

Very unlike past editions, this year’s edition had no audience at the show due to an upsurge in COVID-19 cases. Also, the it the event wasn’t televised.

But the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), the organisers of the award, revealed the winners of the 79th edition.

Whole American actor, Will Smith won the ‘Best Performance by an Actor in Motion Picture, Drama’, Australian actress, Nicole Kidman won ‘Best Actress in a Drama’ for playing Lucille Ball in Amazon Prime’s ‘Being the Ricardos’.

South Korea’s O Yeong-su from the ‘Squid Game’, the survival drama series, won the category ‘Best Supporting Actor in TV’ for his role.
