This grand finale of this year’s Christian reality show, God’s Children Great Talent, (GCGT) has finally come to an end. The month long show which had as judges, TY Mix, Kaffy and Omawunmi ended on Saturday 24th June 2017 in a live television broadcast with 19 year old Esther Benyeogo emerging as winner.

 The student of University of Benin went home with a grand prize of 250 million naira management contract, 10 million naira cash and a brand new car. Esther beat nine other finalists, Joseph Odi, Damilare Bafunso, Anderson Peter, Deborah Oladipupo, Olawonuola Kehinde, Sophia Albert, Goodluck Enoch, Nengi Jaja and Emmanuel Osahor in a keen contest that saw a display of exceptional showmanship on stage.

The winner’s prize was presented by the Senior Pastor of City of David Parish, Idowu Iluyomade, the Chairperson, GCGT Board of Trustees, Siju Iluyomade and Chief Executive Officer of Access Bank and Founder of The How Foundation, Herbert Wigwe.

GCGT is a Christian talent competition that began in 2011 and is organised by the `City of David’, Victoria Island, a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). It is Africa’s Leading Youth Talent Competition featuring skills such as singing, dancing, musical instruments, spoken words, drama, writing and drawing.
