Mohammed Fawehinmi, the first son of the late human rights activist and lawyer, Chief Gani Fawehinmi, is dead.

He died on Wednesday evening after complaining of breathing difficulties.

He was aged 52.

He was also unmarried before his death

A graduate of the University of Buckingham where he bagged a law degree, Mohammed got called to the bar in 1998.

In 2003, he had a terrible accident in Lagos, which affected his spinal cord and confined him to a wheel chair.

He tried to manage his father’s law firm after his demise but was unable to practise law the way his father had hoped.
