All things being equal and baring any unforeseeable circumstance, Funke Fowler, daughter to tax czar, Tunde Fowler and granddaughter to Leila Fowler, founder of Vivian Fowler Memorial College for girls, will be walking down the aisle with her new found love, Aigbovbiose Imohkuede, a sibling to former Access bank MD, Aigboje Imohkuede. While this will be the first time for the very quiet Aigbovbiose who is in his late 40s, it will be Funke Fowler’s second time to walk down the aisle.
Her first adventure into holy matrimony which ended a few years ago was to Abiodun Kuku, a fellow rich kid like her and son of the the Ogbeni Oja of Ijebu land, Chief Bayo Kuku. Despite all the trappings of wealth and luxury on display at both the Lagos end and Dubai end of the wedding, the centre could no longer hold for the couple. There were talks of domestic violence on the part of Abiodun who is fondly referred to as Abbey and pride, lack of submission on the part of Funke. Before much ado, they both decided it was best to go their separate ways.
It is obvious that Funke who runs has put behind her the ugliness of her first marriage and is willing to give marriage another shot. Funke Fowler runs Leiler Fowler fashion boutique, named after her paternal grandmother and Heritage with Love, a clothing line, while Aigbovbiose who is fondly called Aig has his hands in the finance and management sector.
