Flutterwave founder and CEO, Olugbenga Agboola has expanded his business tentacles to include the health care industry.

He is now a major investor in Lagoon Hospital, a top private tertiary care and healthcare service provider in Nigeria.

To this end, the board of the hospital appointed him director.

The part acquisition was fully completed by Iwosan Investments Limited in 2021, following a successful investment round from various local and foreign investors.

Lending credence to this, Lagoon Hospital expressed its happiness in welcoming Agboola to its board of directors via its official Twitter page.

The launch of a multi-specialist facility and a cardiology and cardiac health management centre in Lagos coincided with the announcement.

The facility offers quicker access to interventional cardiology, interventional radiology, and laparoscopic services with optimal outcomes, benefiting both Nigerians and the international community.

The centre’s launch comes at a crucial time when there is a need for enhanced specialist services in Nigeria’s health sector.
