High life crooner, Flavour N’Abania has released his new album, ‘Ijele The Traveller,’ a 17-track playlist in which he features Sarkodie, Terry Apala, Chidinma, Phyno, Zoro among other gifted musicians. The highly anticipated album is as versatile as it can be with a range of musical genres ranging from Reggae to R&B to Gospel to Makossa and more.

According to him, the inspiration behind the album title comes from his indigenous background. ‘Ijele’ one of the rarest and biggest masquerades in Igbo culture only makes appearances at notable events to spice things up while smaller masquerades show up at every occasion. He therefore sees himself in the mould of ‘Ijele’ as he brings spice with his music everywhere that it is played.

“The album title reflects my journey as a musician metaphorically. As a musician, I’ve transformed, evolved and transcended within my music and social responsibilities, and I am proud to share this journey with my fans and listeners far and wide. Music is in my blood, it’s all I know. Music is my life,” Flavour said.
