Family of  Senator Isiaka Adeleke  has said that the cause of the former Osun State governor’s death is not known  yet, even by the pathologists as the report of the autopsy would be ready in one or two weeks. Deji urged the public  to disregard claims in the social media about the  cause of the politician’s passing.

He urged his late brother’s supporters to be calm, saying Adeleke was not known for violence. On its part, the Osun State branch of the Nigeria Medical Association described as untrue the arrest of a doctor, who some  aides to Adeleke claimed treated him  before his death.

Some of the aides to the senator  had said  a doctor living nearby was called to first treat him before he was rushed to a private hospital where he died. They also said that the doctor was later arrested when it was discovered in the autopsy that he administered an overdose painkiller on the deceased.

Meanwhile,   Ms. Idiat Babalola has expressed her gratitude to Ogun State Governor Ibikunle Amosun for rescuing her when she was attacked by  angry supporters of  Adeleke in Ede.
