A lady identified as gender rights activist, Karimot Odebode has taken to twitter to narrate the story of how a father raped his 3-year-old daughter in Oyo State. According to Karimot, the mother of the victim suspected her husband had violated their daughter on June 3. She became vigilant and instructed her younger sister who lived with them, to always ensure her kids were with her whenever she wasn’t around.
However, a day came when the younger sister left the kids in her room and went to the bathroom. When she came back, she saw the little girl coming out of her parents’ bedroom. The victim’s mother was informed and she immediately checked her daughter. What she found left her in shock. Her daughter’s private part was red and open and she was having a foul smell. The little girl later demonstrated how her father used to put his ”popo” in her vagina.
The husband was arrested by NSCDC officials but was later released. Karimot says the victim’s mother is currently being threatened.
