Fashion designer and the President, Fashion Designers Association of Nigeria (FADAN), Funmi Ajila Ladipo’s daughter, Salewa, has taken the decision to tow her mother’s path as a fashion designer. The young lady recently took the fashion world by storm when she unveiled her ready to wear cloth line in Lagos, Ajila Ready-to-wear.

The event which took place at Kona Recreational Hub, Ebun Olu Lane, Off Freedom way , Lekki Phase 1 , Lagos, provided a veritable forum for networking, shopping and cocktail.

Funmi Ajila-Ladipo, who ventured into fashion designing when it was not as glamorous as it is now is today, stuck to her passion through thick and thin, and is today, reaping the fruits of her consistency. With an impressive clientele both home and abroad, Ajila-Ladipo is a strong believer in Nigerians creative potential and products.

Salewa is equaly hoping to replicate the same zeal, passion and consistency that her mother has exhibited over the years.
