Evangelist Isaac Oyedepo, the second son of David Oyedepo, the presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church Worldwide aka Winners Chapel, is extending the reach of his evangelism and soul winning for Christ via movie making.
The outgoing clergy who recently clocked 40 years has joined the ever-growing Nollywood train. He is all set to make his debut in a Christian film titled Black Collar.
Produced by Ayobami Adegboyega, the movie will also feature Isaac’s wife, Ayomitide, Ayobami Adegboyega; Opeyemi Akintunde; Aanu Kolade; Olabimpe Adegboyega and a few others. The movie, which is a production of Prodram Production, will be premiering in three cities across Nigeria as a prelude to its cinema release. Black-Collar is a compelling story where faith and fortune align.
Isaac is not the only young clergy who has ventured into ministry in recent times. In 2024, Emmanuel Iren, the pastor in charge of Celebration Church International, made his film debut with What About Us?, a suspense-filled drama, directed by Kayode Kassum, which explores the complexities of marriage through the interwoven stories of two couples.
Isaac was ordained as a clergy alongside his older brother, Pastor David Jr in May 2007 by Kenneth Copeland. He was a full-time pastor with the church his father founded for 16 years. During this time, he pastored several branches in the USA, South Africa, and Nigeria. His last place of assignment was the national youth minister of the church, an assignment he did not take up before he resigned in 2024 to set up his own ministry, The Isaac Oyedepo Evangelical Ministries with a mission to reclaim a generation, restore the fire, and revive a people.
Isaac carries out his God-given assignment doggedly and with urgency, knowing that will give account to God who called him. The ministry undertakes major university campus invasions across Nigeria, Africa, and the World to reach the unsaved with the gospel of the Kingdom and Ignite the saved through the Ministry of the Holy Ghost. Isaac believes that University campuses serve as the “Bridge” between the “Next” and “Now” Generation.
