The 70th Primetime Emmy Awards which seeks to honour the best in US prime time television programming as chosen by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, took place last weekend. Hosted by Michael Che and Colin Jost, the prestigious event held at Los Angeles Microsoft Theatre. The highlight of the award night was when Glen Weiss, who won the award for Outstanding Director for his work, The Oscars, surprised both the audience by proposing to his girlfriend mid way into his acceptance speech.
