The Port Harcourt based singer, Duncan Mighty who also has his hands in construction has put up a building dedicated to the cause of talent development. The building which he says will be the first ever multimedia and talent development mansion, is to help talented acts in the South South part of Nigeria, who do not have a platform to express their talents, to do so.
Duncan Mighty who recently just welcomed a baby girl with wife, explained it better in a post he captioned #Givingback
“Last year 2016 by this time, I posted this pictures thanking God for this beautiful edifice and also said that by this time next year which is now, that I’ll be celebrating another beautiful mansion. To God be the Glory, that desire has been achieved and is going to be the first ever multimedia and talent development mansion to enable other talented ones in the South-South achieve their God given talent.
“I will be unveiling it properly any moment from now as his Excellency the Executive Governor of Rivers State, Barr. Nyesom Wike is also ready to commission the project. I can now start answering questions about why I have refused to leave Port Harcourt, from the press. My people have suffered a lot; always waiting for the government to create facilities so they can stop leaving Port Harcourt to other states to develop their talent. This is the first Port Harcourt Entertainment Court. God alone is the doer. Pictures and videos will be out in a few days before the opening. One love.”
Well known for his philanthropic gesture, the Port Harcourt boy as he is fondly called, recently hosted about 800 widows at his concrete production company, Mighty construction, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. According to him, he plans to one day, build a home for the elderly and widows, some of the mot neglected group of people in the society. With Duncan Mighty promoting talents he now joins the likes of 2face Idibia, Don Jazzy and Ali Baba who have developed several talents over the years.
