Rap artist, Drake has reportedly pocketed $20 million dollars from Apple Music to own the rights to his new album, ‘More Life’ which is set to be released March 18th. The 30 year old Canadian rapper had earlier signed with the streaming service last year for $19 million and the deal included him promoting Apple Music and exclusivity to his work including streaming of Views.

Recall that in 2015, Apple and Jay Z’s streaming service, Tidal were at war over Drake after Apple warned Tidal not to stream his performance at a New Orleans charity event which also headlined Tidal’s artiste’ Lil Wayne.

‘More Life’, a 20-track album, is expected to be an Apple exclusive for two weeks, a period of exclusivity that the company expects will net them 1,000,000 new subscribers.
