Famous designers, Dolce & Gabbana are currently catching the heat over a photograph of the label’s new fall 2017 sneakers posted by one half of Dolce & Gabbana. The caption read ‘I’m Thin & Gorgeous. The style of sneakers was designed in partnership with Japanese illustrator, Jumpei Kawamura.

However, the phrase isn’t sitting well with the Italian designer’s followers, all of who took him to the cleaners.
“You don’t think it’s a little irresponsible to push a message of ‘Thin and gorgeous’? I hope this will be followed by a message of inclusion of all bodies?” wrote one follower. Another fan responded: “Thin?! I’m disappointed!”

Of course, Gabbana shot back at those who disagreed with him, writing, “darling you prefer to be fat and full of cholesterol ??? I think u have a problem.” He added, “U think is better to be fat full of hamburger??? Stupid.”

Not everyone is upset with him, though. A number of people wrote ‘love it’ and ‘need this.’

Gabbana is aware that he has stirred up controversy, but once again, he isn’t bothered by it. “When idiocy distorts reality!!!” He captioned a screenshot of a Footwear News article about the questionable sneakers. “Next time we’ll write LOVE TO BE FAT AND FULL OF CHOLESTEROL.”
