There is no doubt that dethroned Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido II is indeed a stylish man who takes great care when it comes to his physical appearance. From his days as a banker, with United Bank for Africa and then First Bank of Nigeria before his ascension to the governor of Central Bank, Sanusi at no time never took his dressing with levity. Though mostly adorned in very simple but well-tailored pin stripe suits or safari suit in rich fabrics, his effortlessness at putting his ensemble together including his accessory and turning up stylish was not lost on many.

He would later take it up a notch further when he got appointed as the Emir of Kano. While his traditional attire which were mostly made up of rich and colourful fabrics such as brocade, lace, voile etc, it was his footwear that mostly gave him away as someone who had an eye for stylish, well crafted and expensive footwears. Just like his unhidden love for books, at a time, spending up to N200million on books for his library, Sanusi spares no expense to show that age is nothing but a number when it comes to expressing his love for stylish footwears.

Here a few times he was photographed in them.
