On Christmas eve, veteran journalist, publisher of Ovation magazine and a former presidential aspirant, serenaded his wife of 25 years, Mobolaji, to a society party to mark her joining the 50s club. The city of Lagos was literarily bursting at its seams as the entire social establishment within and outside Lagos converged to celebrate the woman who has stood by Bob Dee as he is fondly called from the time of NADECO when he had to go on exile up until now. The party which was put together single handedly by Dele Momodu took place at The Civic Centre, Ozumba Mbadiwe Road, Victoria Island, Lagos and it recorded a large number of dignitaries some of who are; Governor Ibikunle Amosun and wife, Funsho, Senator Tokunbo Afikuyomi, Senator Gbenga Obadara, Senator Iyiola Omisore, AIG Tunji Alapini, Asiwaju Alex Duduyemi, Obeahon Ohiwerei, Aremo Segun Osoba, Tunde Folawiyo, Kola Abiola etc. It is instructive to note that Kola Abiola’s late father, Chief MKO Abiola was responsible for the wedding party of Dele Momodu when he hitched his wife about 25 years ago.
