Former senate president, David Mark had cause to smile again when he hosted political bigwigs, royalties and other dignitaries from various parts of the country, at his son, David Mark jnr’s traditional wedding to his lover, Vanessa Onuogu.
The groom’s mum, Victoria, one of David Mark‘s wives is from Bayelsa state, hence a retinue of special guests from the south south which included former governor Seriake Dickson, were all at the ceremony to honour one of their own.
The couple and their friends later had a private after-party with Oluwatobi Wande Ojosipe aka Wande Coal and Daniel Benson aka BNXN serenading guests.
Recall that just three months ago, the former Military Governor of Niger State and former Minister of Communications, lost his first son, Tunde Jonathan Mark who to the deadly cancer disease.
Tunde was receiving treatment at a London hospital when he gave up the ghost.
This perhaps explains why the painful death of the groom’s elder brother made the family opt for a ceremony devoid of the kind of pomp that would have been expected of a man of David Mark’s influence.
