Grammy award winning singer, Damini Ogulu aka Burna Boy and nightlife entrepreneur, Okechukwu Pascal aka Cubana Chief Priest are poised for a social media fight.
The rift started after Burna Boy threw indirect jibes at Cubana Chief Priest, referring to him as an ‘Azaman’.
Azaman is a slang used to describe a rich spender but in the street, an Azaman provides the bank details which internet fraudsters otherwise known as G-boys or yahoo boys use to pick funds.
“No forget say u be Azaman o and dem don gbe your plug wey him name na “Omo Igbo” for ATL and na u be next. #OwerriRickyrozay,” the singer wrote in Pidgin English on his Instagram Story.
In his response, Cubana Chief Priest alleged that the singer is indebted to a London jeweller.
“The Ferrari’s. The London jewelers debt. I’m coming. I have long waited for this moment. Osubrileeee oooo”
He also referred to Burna Boy’s relationship with embattled American music entrepreneur Sean Combs aka Diddy, who is currently in detention for alleged sex trafficking.
Cubana Chief Priest wrote, “Diddy oil the fastest way to PTSD you never see anything, you & your Bend down collect Grammy.”
Replying Cubana Chief Priest, Burna Boy noted that the kind of lifestyle he lives is such that he pays for everything he buys complete in cash.
He added that he doesn’t owe money like Cubana Chief Priest’s boss, else his face would have been all over the blogs.
Cubana Chief Priest is very good friends with singer, David Adeleke aka Davido who is Burna Boy’s rival.
Therefore boss in this instance is Davido.
Burna Boy wrote, “You don score yourself. Everybody in Lagos knows my style. all my shit paid for, sometimes cash sef. If not I for dey all the blogs by now for owing debts like your boss. Go to Cooscharis and service any of your stolen cars abeg I wan see something. Rooozaaay,” ‘Igbo voice’. Make I relax actually , I no want make you go jail.”
Responding to the jibe, Cubana Chief Priest also made innuendos about how Burna Boy got his Grammy award, opining that, it is the reason he is so pained and going about looking for who to place his anger on.
